Hey Wolfie! Long time etc.

You may feel old, I am old and retired from contracting. Just fanny about with my little educational software company to keep the brain cells ticking now.

I'm glad to see you're still blogging. Great read still.

I had to quit as fatherhood just became too time-consuming.

Still contracting I trust? I see you are still active on ContractorUK, well done and carry on I say. I've just passed 20 years with my Ltd! Gawd I feel old.

Nice cartoon of the Royals. Do they still have surnames or are they just called Royals now? Like Mary Sue Royal and Bobby Joe Royal? Do you have products over there like Royal Bangers, fine canned brekky sausage, or Royal Carpet Cleaners, or you know, like that?

Speaking of bangers, during my stay in London I ate breakfast a few times at a cafe near my hotel, and had bangers and eggs. Those bangers were the most vile fucking things I ever tried to eat in my life. They were literally grey, and when I cut them open, nothing but grease was inside and it ran out all over my plate. The gristly parts, that I was able to stab with a fork, were spiced up for flavor, at lease. I suppose I was expected to soak that gross mess up with my bread but no thank you.

I went to a restaurant hoping for one decent meal and ordered a steak and it was the worst steak I'd ever had in my life, no exaggeration. British food is TERRIBLE. I finally found a MacDonalds and that was where I ate the rest of my stay in London. Fast food, that I normally seldom ever touch because of the poor food value, was the best food I could find in that city.

Looking at the pasty, white, puffy skinned people on the street, it was no wonder they all looked like that considering the disgusting grease and white bread diet they were all on.

Living in Washington state, too many of the people there have acquired that same look, of poor diet with way too much fat and starch. The similarities between our two nations have by far outweighed the differences now. And my friend, this is not a good thing.

I see you've been busy assaulting religion again. Good job of it, too. Back around 1960 or '61 while I was still in the Navy, aboard a destroyer, and did a lot of reading, I got hold of a paperback containing two works, "A Generation of Vipers" and "An Essay on Morals", by Philip Wylie. I was leaning toward atheism at the time and after reading that book I was convinced and confirmed.

Reading your list of 15 questions brought that book back to mind, as Mr. Wylie put it much the same way. Christianity is so self-contradictory and illogical that I was amazed at myself for never having seen it before. My parents and grandparents and everyone else sucked that crap up and told me it was true, so as a child, of course I believed them.

Religion is a form of insanity we have inflicted on us at birth by our insane parents, who were driven over the edge by their own parents, etcetera ad nauseum.

I've since had a personal experience of -something- that sort of resembles The Force in the Star Wars movies, but it in no way resembles anything in Christianity or any other religion I ever studied, and is nothing I could ever concieve of praying to or worshipping, or singing hymns to. I don't even know what the hell it is. Maybe I got a glimpse of universal consciousness? No idea.

That's right. Foreign aid does no real good. We only give it to them so they can all afford to come here and live with us. Which they do.

Hurrah for Multi-culturalism! Long live the unwashed, inbred, violent masses in our midst. God's creatures all, it's our bounden duty to care and provide for them, who are too fucking stupid and lazy to provide for themselves once you separate them from their goat herds.

But if we stop giving them foreign aid, how will they be able to swarm into our countries? I ask you. We can't quit now. What, and emulate a certain Scottish Catholic cardinal? Living proof of the efficacy of celibacy? Ah but I digress, it must be what I had for lunch.

Finally, the proper speech balloons for the Sistine Chapel ceiling mural. Very Catholic. Now I know where all those priests get their inspiration.

Re: All going down together, our Universe is unchanged but another, alternate Universe ceases to exist with our passing. This is because our birth creates a duplicate Universe of the one we were born into, and we inhabit the duplicate. Our existence continues to alter our Universe as we live. So when we die, the other Universe, whose existence was hanging by the thread of our life, simply stops being. Because we created this one, however, it goes on forever. The result is that there are untold billions, perhaps trillions, of alternate Universes. If you're starting to see more than one paradox in this, you're looking too closely. Stop.

And re: Bombs and pizzas, you almost have it with that title. Now think about it. Bombs. Pizzas. Bomb. The. Muslim. Pizzarias.
Kill. Them. All. Up the Brit Extremists. Make placards and hold demonstrations blocking traffic: "Muslim Freedom Go To Hell". "Behead those who insult Britain". "Islam is not halal".

Hire some British Rage Boys with huge mouths and big eyes who can scream really loud. Leave suspicious looking packages at Muslim storefronts. Wear balaclavas, wave plastic, bloody heads on pikes. Have fun, but don't forget to kill as many as possible in self defense, especially after dark.

We pass our time, our lives well spent
But not spent well, our days are lent
To joys and fears and hopes of rewared
In youth, energetic. In old age, bored.

A purpose for Life, a reason for being
To grasp, comprehend, so blindly unseeing
That no higher purpose could ever be known
For life, a purpose? Life is it's own.
