Having immense wealth is never enough, they want the thrill of POWER over others, the ability to manipulate whole countries and millions of people, and the root core problem with this, as with the least of government positions, is that whoever sits in the cat bird seat will become corrupted directly upon their buttocks making contact with the cushion.
Humans don't govern themselves worth a crap. Government is simply controlled anarchy, with the anarchists in charge of all the rest of us who just want to be left the fuck alone. Governments and priesthoods have always been in conflict with each other, each trying to gain power over the other, while the rest of us are jerked back and forth by a constant barrage of propaganda and threats from each side. I wish they'd all go take a flying fuck at a rolling donut. I lived for years in a community where anarchy ruled and the police dared not venture, and I can tell you for a fact that the only problems we ever had were when the police DID venture in. Otherwise we settled things among ourselves just fine. And no one paid taxes. How fine it was.
